Product Description
Oral Anatomy and Physiology is a study of the features of oral anatomy that influence the fit and function of dentures. It is not a comprehensive study of oral anatomy.
By understanding the 3 bite classes and the relationship of the teeth in each one, technicians can better plan the occlusal and anterior relationship of the setup.
You will study:
- The 6 muscle groups and their attachments
- How they influence the shape and stability of the upper and lower dentures
- The 21 features of each arch that you will use to plan and design every denture
Communication with other team members will be clear and precise using the standard terminology learned in this course. Every denture technician can benefit from the fundamental data presented on this course to help effectively design and produce stable, well fitting, esthetic dentures.
