This course takes the mystery out of creating high quality, cosmetic restorations. With detailed images and matching illustrations, anyone can learn how to become a remarkable contouring technician.
Building on the Science of a Natural Smile course, Contouring Anterior Bridges teaches the exact procedures for reproducing each of the 10 components of a natural smile as taught in The Science of a Natural Smile. Using repeatable steps helps the student learn quickly and with great retention.
To take this course you must be able to obtain unfinished ceramic or PMMA anterior practice bridges constructed from the PTC Anterior Bridge mold PU2. The course takes you start-to-finish through three anterior bridges. The same procedures can be used to carve anterior waxups simply by substituting a wax carver for the ceramic contouring instruments.
Short quizzes at the end of each section make sure the student is understanding the material. By default, the course will take you through the entire process 3 times (cycles). Students who have mastered the material after 1 or 2 cycles may proceed to the final exam and skip the remaining cycles.
Students who pass the course with a score of 85% or higher may purchase a Certificate of Completion and receive CDT credits.
