Product Description
The Aesthetic-Press Value Based Ingots—Light, Dark, Dark Plus—are designed for the Press and Staining Technique.
All 16 VITA shades can be achieved with very little staining in one cycle.
The Value Based Ingots are blended with enough opacity to maintain the value in the patient's mouth, but at the same time show enough translucency, so that matching all enamel effects can be achieved easily with the fluorescent AP Stains.
Aesthetic-Press Value Based Ingots
Classic Light—A1, A2, B1 B2, C1, C2, D2 using Opaque Light
Classic Dark—A3-A3.5, B3, C3, D3 using Opaque Dark
Classic Dark Plus—A4, B4, C4, D4 using Opaque Dark
For the press & stain technique, the technician can achieve the entire color spectrum with 3 different value based ingots. With one stain cycle, light colors as well as the dark shades can be matched without the use of glaze paste. The feldspar-based porcelain ensures a homogenous natural glaze.
The Classic Light ingot and the opaque light cover the lighter shades ranging from A1-A2, B1-B2, C1-C2, or D2, whereas the Classic Dark ingot and the opaque dark are good for shades A3-A3.5. The Classic Dark Plus ingot and the opaque dark cover the A4, B4, C4, D4 range.
With the minimal investment of only two opaque shades, the wide spectrum of the 16 Vita shades can be achieved with one glaze bake. Add on powder is available for these specific ingot shades in low-fusing (LF) or high-fusing (HF) porcelain. These powders can also be used as one powder buildup material.
