The unique design of the Aesthetic-Press™ Classic ingot has the right amount of opacity so that the final crown does not appear too grey. At the same time, the ingot has enough translucencies to mimic all the incisal characteristics desired.
For the press & stain technique, the technician can achieve the entire color spectrum with 3 different value based ingots. With one stain cycle, light colors as well as the dark shades can be matched without the use of glaze paste. The feldspar-based porcelain ensures a homogenous natural glaze. In order to achieve the right value, two different opaquer shades are available. The opaquer light is covering the lighter shades ranging from A1-A2 or, B1-B2, C1-C2, D2, whereas the opaquer dark is good for all shades like A3 and higher. With the minimal investment of only two opaquers the wide spectrum of the 16 Vita shades can be achieved with one glaze bake.
